Introduction to Trad Climbing

This training is aimed at climbers who are already autonomous in outdoor sport climbing.

Prepare to tackle the challenges of traditional climbing with a certified instructor.

You will learn how to:

• Use different types of cams and nuts
• Build anchors using gear
• Place gear correctly
• Manage risks in traditional climbing
• Lead climb with traditional protection
• Perform basic self-rescue maneuvers
• Overcome fear

Few things compare to the sense of autonomy and freedom that traditional climbing provides.

The course will be offered only once or twice per season, with 6 spots available.
All equipment is provided.
